Our marquee room offers a stunning and adaptable setting for weddings and private parties, seamlessly accommodating both small, intimate celebrations and larger events. The space also lends itself perfectly to corporate functions, product launches, and team-building days, up to 70 seats.

For more intimate gatherings, the Private Dining Room seats 8 and Library provide elegant surroundings for meetings, tastings, or special dining experiences, with capacity for up to 16 guests.

Terms & Conditions

To secure your booking, a non-refundable deposit of £100 is required, which will be applied toward the room hire charge.
The hire period includes one (1) hour prior to the event for set-up and decoration and three and a half (3.5) hours for
the event. Any extension to this hire period is subject to availability and will incur an additional charge of £100 per
hour, unless otherwise agreed in writing by the hotel.

Payment Terms

A non-refundable deposit of for the room is required to confirm the booking. The cost is dependant on the chosen room
Four (4) weeks prior to the event, 50% of the total event cost is due
At this stage, confirmation of final guest numbers, meal selections, and event timings is required
The remaining balance is payable on the day of the event
Any additional costs incurred on the day must be paid in full
No booking is confirmed until the deposit has been received
Full payment must be made by one individual (i.e. no split payments across multiple cards)

Pre-Orders & Table Plans

Final guest numbers, meal selections, and event timings must be confirmed four (4) weeks prior to the event
A table plan must also be provided in advance

Cancellation Policy

The deposit is non-refundable
If the event is cancelled within four (4) weeks of the event date, the 50% payment is retained
All cancellations must be made in writing
All prices include VAT and are subject to a 10% service charge
Deposit payment is required within 72 hours of the invoice being issued
The event date will only be secured once the deposit payment has been received
If the deposit is not paid within 72 hours, the booking will not be confirmed and the date may be released

Amendments

Any changes to guest numbers, timings, or event details must be confirmed in writing in advance and may affect the final balance

Postponements

Postponements are subject to availability and at the hotel’s discretion

Supplier & Third-Party Costs

Any non-recoverable third-party costs already incurred (including venues, entertainers, equipment hire, catering, and
travel) are payable in full regardless of cancellation timing

Library / We held a wonderful 90th birthday dinner

for 15 family members and friends just before Christmas. Food, wine and service were excellent, from pre-dinner fizz and cocktails beside the open fire, to the atmospheric Library. We brought in our own birthday cake which was presented with coffee after dinner, and returned to the the Lounge area to relax. We've enjoyed family occasions here many times over the years and will definitely return again. Thank you.

Golden Wedding celebration lunch

We booked the Open Arms for our Golden Wedding celebration lunch and worked closely with Nicole, who was efficient, helpful and full of warmth. The Marquee Room was perfectly set, with drinks, canapés and a lovely two-course meal. Guests praised the food, and we appreciated having time to relax afterwards. Brilliant Burns Supper

We had the most wonderful Burns Supper with friends. It was such a fun evening with great attention to detail. All boxes were ticked (and more) from what you would expect for a Burns night celebration. The staff were really attentive and did a fab job welcoming and catering for everyone.
